Well today was a busy day for me and my staff. It started with a AM morning in Oroville with a few out of town clients. I just listed two income properties for them, but the purpose of our meeting today was to determine our strategy for for a parcel split, which is in the works.
The property is a good size infill lot, with a remodeled front home. In the back, with separate frontage is a small one bedroom home. We were finalizing the split plans, and hope to have the package deal on the market soon, with more information on the way. After my morning meeting, I came back to the office to do follow ups with all my buyers and prospective sellers, before a lunch appointment. My lunch appointment was with a brand new mortgage officer, learning the ropes at Countrywide Home Loans. Her name is Nicole, and she will be a great associate to work with in the future.
I love to work with lenders, I am constantly getting calls each day with new clients that need real estate expertise, but first meet with one of my awesome lender-partners. After Lunch I met with one of our office's top producing agents, a we discussed the previous days listing appointments and their outcomes. We are constantly looking for ways to improve.
I delivered a complete file to a client which I just helped purchase her first home. I now deliver complete files to my clients in PDF format on a CD, so they can look at them on their computer or make copies. It also makes storage much easier.
After delivery, I prepared for my Saturday morning meeting with a out-of-town buyer, by rescheduling my appointments. When a buyer is flying in, it is much easier to rearrange my appointments, than their flights. He is a prospective university professor at Chico State.
I also contacted a client which is moving from San Antonio, Texas to setup a time to meet. He is also traveling to Chico this weekend, and I wanted to offer time to meet with him first, before my weekend filled up.
I met with my assistant regarding some new procedures on our newsletter and direct mail advertising campaigns, and then I was off to our Keller Williams training course. Keller Williams is such a great company, they required us and encourage all agents to take advantage to all their training. Today Ron Largent, from the Redding Area came and refined our skills, and helped us brainstorm ways to serve our clients with 100% satisfaction.
